The Professional Year Program in ICT
You have studied hard to gain the technical skills and knowledge you need for a career in ICT. But what's next? How can you kick start your Australian career in ICT?
ACS is offering an exciting new program for former international students who have graduated from a university within Australia and are seeking permanent residency.
The ACS Professional Year (PYear) Program provides an additional pathway from university to employment within Australia offering a 12 month job-readiness program to equip you with the professional skills needed for a successful career in the Australian workforce.
The Professional Year Program delivers:
- up to 12 months of practical training and workshops
- a 12 week hands-on internship with a host company
- access to networking opportunities and professional development as a graduate member of the Australian ICT industry's professional body
- on successful completion of a Professional Year program specified by the Minister a participant may be awarded 10 points under the General Skilled Migration points test.
