Role of the ACS

The ACS has been working in collaboration with other professional societies, through bodies such as the International Professional Practice Partnership (IP3), to establish an international benchmark for professionalism in ICT.

Certified Professional (CP) is this benchmark.

We will work to foster awareness of CP and to promote the benefits of this program to those within business, industry, government and academic circles. 

These stakeholders are key to accepting and recognising a new calibre of ICT professional, one who makes an even stronger commitment to professional development, ethics, and professionalism.
