Leave the Matrix behind!

In this masterclass, you will learn to elevate your data narratives beyond mundane tables and matrices. Roland highlights the path to embrace dynamic visuals and intuitive insights, all with Power BI.

At first the concept of “DataViz” might seem somewhat abstract. However, it’s all about effectively communicating information to our users through visuals. In contrast to conventional tables and matrices that emphasize data export, this approach alleviates the need for users to undertake individual data transformations, establish measures, KPIs, and deal with interpreting the underlying significance of the data.

With some help and guidance, report developers can create a better environment that already answers business questions and drive data-driven decision-making. No more drowning in a sea of numbers!

Key takeaways include:

Visual Impact: Ditching traditional matrices for compelling visualizations enhances data's impact on audiences.

Narrative Flow: Crafting a data story akin to a journey keeps viewers engaged and guides them to key insights.

Context is King: Adding context to data with interactive elements fosters a deeper understanding.

Emotion Through Data: Leveraging visuals that evoke emotions adds a human touch to data-driven stories.

Actionable Insights: Translating complex data into actionable insights empowers decision-makers to drive change.

About the Speaker: Roland Szirmai, Business Analyst and Microsoft Data Platform MVP
Roland Szirmai is an Analyst with 12+ years of experience in Financial, Commercial, and Operational reporting.
