Todd said of his appointment: "I look forward to engaging with Australia's most forward thinking corporations, all levels of Government, Venture Capitalists and the broader ICT Industry alike to ensure we have direct pathways for our best and brightest talent that foster's the growth of our leading Australian tech start up and scaleups on the world stage.

“Achieving both domestic and international commercial outcomes is a key imperative in our role of guiding, mentoring and enabling our most innovative tech minds and ideas - and we will leverage all of the greatest attributes of ACS, our three start-of-the art innovation labs and standing in the Australian ICT sector to ensure success.”

In his role, Todd will be responsible for leading the business in line with ACS’ broader strategies along with managing Startup Catalyst’s missions and the Entrepreneur in Residence function at River City Labs.

A key factor in Todd’s appointment is his understanding of the business application of technology across a wide range of industry verticals.

Siobhan Casey, Director of ACS’ Scale-Ups and Innovation Labs, added: “I am very excited to welcome Todd McGregor to Startup Catalyst and the broader ACS team.

“Todd’s vast international business experience, coupled with successfully exiting several startups uniquely positions him to lead the dynamic Startup Catalyst program, which focuses on the cultural transformation of the Australian economy to one that is fast paced, startup aware, and global first.”
