NEWCASTLE CHAPTER - From the Analogue Phone to e-Mobility and Smart Grids - Thursday 11 August

Lance Douglass will take us on a journey from a telephone exchange in the suburbs of Newcastle NSW, to Silicon Valley in California and back again. 

Lance will reveal the technologies and lessons learned from the analogue days through to the cutting edge of e-Mobility and Smart Grids today, and the outlook ahead as transport and energy converge and ICT becomes ever more critical to its operation.
