ACS NSW Welcomes New Branch Executive Committee Members
Commencing on 1 January 2017, we would like to welcome Patricia Evanson and Andrew Crawford who have joined the ACS NSW BEC. The NSW Team and NSW BEC is looking forward to working together in delivering high quality initiatives ensuring Members gain maximum benefits in 2017.
Patricia Evanson
Patricia is a senior IT professional with over 30 years’ experience in the ICT industry and holds a Master of Business in Information Technology Management from the University of Technology Sydney.
During her career, she has held senior roles in all areas of customer support, systems analyst and project management in the retail entertainment industry. During the last 5 years of her work life she held the position of National ICT Manager at Hoyts Cinemas. She was responsible for the successful delivery of major projects that were aligned with and met business strategy. In particularly the replacement of all cinema Point of Sale Systems throughout the Australian and New Zealand circuit, implementation of financial systems and new transactional websites.
She is at a point in her career where she can give back to the ICT profession, having recently joined the ACS-Women NSW Committee and is assisting in the development of plans for next year.
With her experience, interests and availability she is in an excellent position to offer ACS the support it needs in maintaining and achieving its key goals and objectives.
Andrew Crawford
Andrew is part of the ACS professional partner programme. Andrew is an employer of interns via the ACS Foundation and sees this partnership as providing excellent experience and first job exposure for so many ACS current and future members.
Andrew is a practising director in the health and university sectors and also holds the position of Chief Information and Technology Officer with NSW Ambulance. He has deep experience working in both the private, NGO and public sectors and has worked in global organisations based in Europe, USA and Asia.
With a broad skill set in economics, IT, risk management, governance and accounting, Andrew brings to the ACS NSW Committee a diverse skill set and a passion to be member focused. He is passionate about diversity, mentoring and knowledge sharing as evidenced by the various groups he has convened over the past 10 years in NSW.
Andrew holds memberships with CPA Australia, the Institute of Chartered Accountants (Australia and NZ) and the Australian Mutuals Institute and holds an MBA from Deakin university and is a graduate of the AICD Company Directors Course.
