On Tuesday 31 January, the Andrews Labor government announced a $4.9M boost for the Startup space in Victoria. This comes as the second round of funding from LaunchVic, a startup whose aim is to create jobs within Victoria and stretch innovation further than it’s been before.
Minister for Small Business Innovation and Trade Philip Dalidakis, LaunchVic Chair Ahmed Fahour and CEO Dr Kate Cornick advised that the Round 2 funding is set to cover a number of new projects that will increase the scale, accessibility and diversity of Victoria’s startup sector across health, education and technology.
