Matthew Jorgensen
GISP Project Manager, Australian Computer Society
Matthew Jorgensen is the Project Manager for the Queensland Government-supported Gateway to Industry Schools Program. The ICT GISP connects schools to tech industry leaders to provide experiential learning and promote careers in ICT. He has been a Primary School Teacher and Microsoft Teacher Ambassador, and prior to joining ACS was the Director of eLearning at Saint Stephen’s College.

With over 20 years of industry experience, Brendan is the director of Clevvi, a Marketing and Digital Innovation agency offering a range of services including web development, digital content creation, digital marketing, Integrations, App development and software engineering.
In 2015 Brendan was recognised as one of the winners of the ‘Regional Online Hero’ award, a joint initiative between Google and the Regional Australia Institute, in recognition for outstanding use of the internet and digital technologies.
With a wealth of marketing experience Brendan leads Clevvi’s Toowoomba based marketing team which includes digital content specialists, digital marketers, graphic designers and web developers.

Project Lead, B2E CRM Employer Portal Project, TAFE Queensland
The diverse industry experience covering Finance, Mining, Safety and Student Management, in both Australia and the United Kingdom, has positioned Michelle well as project lead on major digital transformation projects at TAFE Queensland. Her most recent projects have included Customer Relationship Management Platforms; Apprentice and Traineeship Booking and Education Management Systems and currently the Employer Training Information Portal. Her experience provided her with the necessary people management skills to enable accountability and successful delivery of major ICT platforms that transform the way work is done.
After completing her degree in Business Management, Michelle has developed her people leadership skills and her ICT project management skills with Diplomas in Leadership and Project Management as well as technical skills through Foundation and Practitioner levels of PRINCE2 project management. Michelle loves the challenge of changing how work is done and bringing people on the journey through change management principles. Michelle is committed to using technologies to provide efficient and effective solutions that free humans up to bring their best human skills to the workplace.

IT Manager, Wagner Corporations
Ryan is a skilled IT professional with over 15 years’ experience, primarily in consulting and managed services. He started his career in the Army and branched out into the private IT sector working with various local, interstate and multinational companies as well as government agencies. Joining Wagner Corporation in 2019 as their IT Manager, Ryan has been instrumental in delivering secure, reliable, high performance IT infrastructure and operations across Wellcamp Airport, Wellcamp Business Park, Wagners Pinkenba Wharf and their carrier business Wellcamp Telecommunications. He has been a key part to the company’s continued IT strategy and development.

Associate Professor and Head, School of Mathematics, Physics and Computing, University of Southern Queensland
Linda Galligan is an Associate Professor with the Faculty of Health Engineering and Sciences at USQ and is currently Head of the School of Mathematics, Physics, and Computing. She has taught first year mathematics and statistics courses and has strong links with schools providing mathematics programs and activities for students and teachers. Her research includes language and mathematics, and student preparation for numeracy demands of university. More recently her focus has been on technology enhanced learning, and is a current member of the Technology Enhanced Learning Research Collaborative at USQ. In 2021 the team was short listed for UKs Association for Learning Technology (ALT) Learning Technologist of the Year Team Award.

- Payment in full is required the time of booking in order for the registration to be valid.
- To avoid disappointment, ensure you pay for your booking(s) before the registration closing date. Anyone that has not received a confirmation email will not be on the event attendance list and therefore will not be admitted to the event.

Cancellation and Refund
All cancellations must be processed through the website, a refund will only be considered if it is at least 3 working days prior to the event.

COVID-19 Event Attendance Compliance
By registering to attend an ACS in person event you are agreeing to the below terms and conditions
- If an attendee is displaying flu or cold like symptoms in the days leading up to the event and therefore is not able to attend, ACS will refund the registration fee.
- If an attendee comes to an event and is displaying flu or cold like symptoms they will be asked to leave
- We ask all ACS members to respect the social distancing guidelines, if an attendee repeatedly disregards these guidelines, they may be asked to leave
- ACS reserves the right to cancel the event within 24 hours' notice if either the speaker or the event host has advised us that they are exhibiting flu or cold like symptoms
- All attendees must provide a valid phone number and email address to be contacted on if there is reason to notify about a possible COVID-19 exposure
