The Ask Me Anything panel will feature leading tech professionals where students and emerging professionals will hear a short introduction from panellists on their current roles and ICT journey. Get ready to then ask questions about the panellist’s organisations and hiring habits, personal experiences applying for jobs as a graduate, challenges, career aspirations or specific skills that they’ve acquired in their roles. This session provides a safe and informative space for students to obtain answers to questions that are not often asked, and provide clarity around the expectations and careers experiences of professionals in the ICT industry.

Hannah Crosby
Senior 3D Artist, Gameloft
Hannah is a Senior 3D Artist with 16 years experience across games and film, currently working with Gameloft Brisbane on mobile titles, including the official successor to The Oregon Trail™ on Apple Arcade and the recently announced My Little Pony: Mane Merge. After working with games companies THQ and Rare on multiple console titles as a 3D artist, Hannah branched out into practical prop sculpture and art finishing, her work can be seen in such films as Thor: Ragnarok, Aquaman and Love and Monsters. Hannah is committed to mentoring upcoming digital artists, and is an active participant in the online games community, fostering diversity within the industry.

Scott Brady
Head of SaaS Platform Architecture – Core Services, TechnologyOne
Scott is one of the lead technical architects at TechnologyOne, with a specialty in cloud architecture and SaaS. As a DevOps pioneer, he was one of the first developers at TechOne to deploy and run their own code on the cloud in production. This has led to a lot of lessons learnt over the years in everything from 24x7 incident response, observability, CI/CD, shift-left security, architecting for scale and cost optimisation. Scott now spends most of his time helping colleagues design and deliver solutions for the cloud, and evolving TechOne's cloud platform to keep on top of the ever-evolving changes in tech. Outside of work, Scott enjoys spending time with his family and relaxing in the pool.

Katrina Monteith
Principle, Evolve Sustain Pty Ltd (Self Employed)
It was the desire for variety and transferable skills that could support a lifestyle of flexibility and travel that led Katrina to choose the IT industry over 20 years ago. After starting as a programmer, Katrina chose to try a myriad of roles including Systems Analyst, Senior Software Design Analyst, Product Support Manager, Implementation Consultant, Pre-Sales Consultant and Senior Business Analyst.
Her choices have found her living and travelling through Asia, leading a FIFO lifestyle between Gold Coast and Tasmania, meeting amazing people and learning new cultures. On her journey, she has helped aircraft engineers design a workshop system, university faculties align their practices, vessel traffic officers implement a decision support tool to track vessels transiting the Great Barrier Reef, and port surveyors and dredgers source software to manage commercial and environmental requirements.
After branching out on her own she found her sweet spot – providing Senior Business Analyst skills in the space where Operational Technology meets ICT in highly technical environments undergoing major technological transformation. Her current gig is with the Department of Regional Development, Manufacturing and Water helping to evaluate emerging technologies such as image velocimetry and satellite imagery to measure surface water in the Northern Murray Darling Basin.

With over 20 years of experience across different roles and industries, including companies like RACQ and Silverrail, Alex has found his passion in DevOps, automation and CI/CD. He was closely involved in RACQ's journey to the cloud, and has used his skills to improve and accelerate software development. As the DevOps Lead at Canstar, he is dedicated to mentoring younger colleagues, with the objective to help set them up for career success. He likes to spend his spare time with his family, as well as running model trains of different sizes.

Olivia is a software engineer at the Department of Manufacturing, Regional Development and Water in the state government. She is also the Events and Stakeholder Lead at ACS QLD Emerging Professionals Committee. Prior to her IT career, Olivia has 5 years of digital marketing experience in international consultancies.
With her IT and marketing background, Olivia is passionate about problem-solving to create positive social impacts.
Olivia is a software engineer at the Department of Manufacturing, Regional Development and Water in the state government. She is also the Events and Stakeholder Lead at ACS QLD Emerging Professionals Committee. Prior to her IT career, Olivia has 5 years of digital marketing experience in international consultancies.

Registration
- Payment in full is required the time of booking in order for the registration to be valid.
- To avoid disappointment, ensure you pay for your booking(s) before the registration closing date. Anyone that has not received a confirmation email will not be on the event attendance list and therefore will not be admitted to the event.
- Online registration ends at the time stated on the event details page.
Cancellation and Refund
All cancellations must be processed through the website, a refund will only be considered if it is at least 3 working days prior to the event.

- ACS reserves the right to change the program at any time. Every effort will be made to ensure a program of equivalent standard and members are updated with changes.
- All dietary requirements are considered, however we cannot guarantee a 100% allergen free environment.
- ACS reserves the right to prohibit entry or eject any person from an ACS event based on behaviour deemed inappropriate by ACS staff, its agents and/or others working under its authority.

COVID-19 Event Attendance Compliance
By registering to attend an ACS in person event you are agreeing to the below terms and conditions
- If an attendee is displaying flu or cold like symptoms in the days leading up to the event and therefore is not able to attend, ACS will refund the registration fee.
- If an attendee comes to an event and is displaying flu or cold like symptoms they will be asked to leave
- We ask all ACS members to respect the social distancing guidelines, if an attendee repeatedly disregards these guidelines, they may be asked to leave
- ACS reserves the right to cancel the event within 24 hours' notice if either the speaker or the event host has advised us that they are exhibiting flu or cold like symptoms
- All attendees must provide a valid phone number and email address to be contacted on if there is reason to notify about a possible COVID-19 exposure
