Nancy is a seasoned digital technology leader with a passion for sustainability. She has held senior leadership positions at some of the world's most respected companies, including startups, multinationals, and the Big Four consulting firms.
This diverse background has given Nancy a unique perspective on the challenges and opportunities facing businesses in the 21st century. She has seen firsthand how technology can be used to create positive change, and she is committed to using her expertise to make a difference.
In recognising the crucial need for collaboration that genuinely addresses sustainability challenges, Nancy founded Glimmer—The Sustainability Network. Glimmer is a community of like-minded individuals who are committed to making a difference. Passionate about environmental and social sustainability, and well-being, Nancy aims to use Glimmer to educate and unite a community committed to driving positive change.
Nancy’s entrepreneurial spirit combines her keen sense of purpose and innovation, steering Glimmer for transformative change, encouraging others to adopt sustainable practices and setting new benchmarks for responsible social media engagement.
Leading with impact, Sara's journey is a testament to the power of vision, innovation, and purpose. She started in IT and boldly transformed a family business, La Porchetta, from a 12-restaurant chain into Australia's largest franchised a-la-carte restaurant group.
With a passion for people and growth, Sara's leadership isn't just about numbers. She built a robust and diverse team at La Porchetta, investing in their development and fostering a collaborative culture. Her commitment to sustainability and social responsibility led her to co-found the Moira Kelly Creating Hope Foundation and Affari SP, a consulting firm empowering small businesses with a circular economy and ESG mindset.
Sara's dedication extends beyond La Porchetta. She is actively involved in various organisations and has served on national boards for the Franchise Council of Australia and the Family Business Association, championing franchising and family businesses. Additionally, she holds leadership positions with organisations promoting financial well-being, community development, and healthcare, fostering engagement and connection.
Recognised as National Franchise Woman of the Year in 2010, Sara's achievements are a source of pride for all women in business. She is a role model for CALD (Culturally and Linguistically Diverse) women. She actively mentors and advocates for diversity and inclusion, seeking to elevate her impact on vulnerable communities.

With a deep commitment to sustainability, Nicole is actively working to integrate eco-friendly practices into the school system and educate young minds about the importance of everyday sustainable living. Her dedication to empowering the next generation and promoting a more sustainable future is truly inspiring.
His work explores how the strategic alignment of IT systems with ESG goals can enhance organisational sustainability by leveraging EA. With a background in ICT project management over eight years and several professional certifications, Nayeem brings a practical, interdisciplinary approach to his research, aiming to bridge the gap between technology and sustainability for the future world.
Her role at the Ministry of Education enables her to bridge academic research with practical application, contributing to policy and innovation in education. Maryam’s experience across both public and private sectors underscores her dedication to integrating sustainability into core business strategies. She is passionate about equipping the next generation to navigate and excel in a rapidly evolving digital landscape.
Alongside her PhD, Rita is a sustainability strategy officer and a tutor in urban climate change and sustainability at the University of Melbourne. She is also a research assistant for multiple global sustainability education projects, including the Monitoring and Evaluation of Climate Change Education (MECCE) project, and the International Literacy Project (ILP). Her zeal for advancing actionable sustainability and climate change education, particularly in higher education settings, stems from her passion for contributing to a truly transformational sustainability education for meaningful impacts.
Before academia, Dan managed institutional investment portfolios and developed innovative investment products, including one of Australia's first environmental superannuation funds.
Embracing the principle of continuous improvement, Dilan actively seek wisdom to unlock the power of data and deliver exceptional results. With a proven track record of adding substantial value to organisations, he is committed to advancing the data field and making a positive impact.

Registration
- Payment in full is required the time of booking in order for the registration to be valid.
- To avoid disappointment, ensure you pay for your booking(s) before the registration closing date. Anyone that has not received a confirmation email will not be on the event attendance list and therefore will not be admitted to the event.
- Online registration ends at the time stated on the event registration page.
Cancellation and Refund
All cancellations must be processed through the website, a refund will only be considered if it is at least 3 working days prior to the event.
Disclaimer
- ACS reserves the right to change the program at any time. Every effort will be made to ensure a program of equivalent standard and members are updated with changes.
- All dietary requirements are considered, however we cannot guarantee a 100% allergen free environment.
- ACS reserves the right to prohibit entry or eject any person from an ACS event based on behaviour deemed inappropriate by ACS staff, its agents and/or others working under its authority.
- Filming or streaming by attendees is not permitted. If an attendee is found to be doing so they will be asked to leave the event immediately and further action may be taken.
- Photography and/or filming may take place during this event, by accepting these terms you consent to this. Please let a member of ACS know if you do not want your picture taken.
COVID-19 Event Attendance Compliance
By registering to attend an ACS in person event you are agreeing to the below terms and conditions
- If an attendee is displaying flu or cold like symptoms in the days leading up to the event and therefore is not able to attend, ACS will refund the registration fee.
- If an attendee comes to an event and is displaying flu or cold like symptoms they will be asked to leave
- We ask all ACS members to respect the social distancing guidelines, if an attendee repeatedly disregards these guidelines, they may be asked to leave
- ACS reserves the right to cancel the event within 24 hours' notice if either the speaker or the event host has advised us that they are exhibiting flu or cold like symptoms
- All attendees must provide a valid phone number and email address to be contacted on if there is reason to notify about a possible COVID-19 exposure
