Join us at the Curtin University HIVE for an evening of data visualisation, machine learning, supercomputing and photogrammetry. Professor Gretchen Benedix will describe the project which has counted and classified over 94 million craters on the surface of Mars, and produced beautiful and insightful visualisations that have revealed the source of some meteorites found on Earth. Associate Professor Andrew Woods will take you on visual journal of several shipwreck sites around the world – using digital 3D models created using photogrammetric 3D reconstruction techniques. Both of these presentations will be presented on the HIVE’s big wrap-around 3D Cylinder projection system for an incredible immersive experience.

PLEASE NOTE:

Limited spots available. Please register only if you are 100% sure you can attend. No-shows prevent others from joining.
