In Memory of Yvonne (Yve) Laffey

The Australian Computer Society (ACS) is saddened by the passing of a former workmate, Yvonne (Yve) Laffey. She was an enthusiastic and passionate advocate for the use of information and communication technology in society, and was a major contributor to important policy positions adopted by the Society.

Yve was an out-going and articulate colleague who made time to engage with everyone she met. She was always a positive co-worker and friend to all. Her contributions to the Canberra Branch of the ACS were positive and friendly. Yve is fondly remembered by those who worked with her and will be missed by all.
