ICT50220 Diploma of Information Technology (DIT)

 

Be recognised as a tech professional with the specialist skills and knowledge to help organisations meet their technology challenges, goals and obligations. A DIT qualification equips you to:

Course Structure

 

The DIT is a one-year full-time course that blends online and workplace experiences – there are zero face-to-face classes. The course covers 20 units of competency, consisting of:

  • 4 elective units

  • 6 units from Front End Web Development specialisation

  • 4 units from Cloud Architecture specialisation

     

  • 6 core units

The DIT is delivered as five modules, plus a 12-week cadetship or internship placement:

ICTICT449 Use version control systems in development environments

ICTICT426 Identify and evaluate emerging technologies and practices

 

Module 3: The Cloud

 

ICTCLD501 Develop cloud disaster recovery plans

ICTCLD502 Design and implement highly-available cloud infrastructure

ICTCLD503 Implement web-scale cloud infrastructure

ICTCLD504 Improve cloud-based infrastructure

 

Module 4: Create an Opportunity

Module 5: Business Skills

12-week Cadetship or Internship

 

Gain practical ICT workplace experience in an Australian-based organisation. Cadets will be offered the opportunity to reflect on their skills and experience in a non-accredited, online mentorship experience with ACS.

ACS Fees and Refunds Policy

ACS Complaints and Appeals Policy

 

ACS have a student-friendly policy and process for complaints and appeals. If a student exhausts that process and remains dissatisfied, they can escalate their case to ACS for review using the ACS Complaints and Appeals Form
