Join the Gold Coast Chapter for a two course meal as they are joined by a panel of cyber and cyber insurance experts to explore the current cyber threat landscape, and what businesses need to look at in 2022 in terms of cyber risk mitigation. Relevant for CIOs, CISOs, CEOs and business leaders generally, we will explore emerging cyber threats, discuss the right cybersecurity systems and tools to have in place and will also take a deep dive into the topical area of cyber insurance which is becoming an increasing challenge for businesses across the board. We will also discuss how to pitch cybersecurity to your Board to prioritise.

Stefanie Luhrs is a Special Counsel in Clyde & Co's Brisbane office specialising in cyber incident response, data protection, IT liability, D&O and professional insurance lines. She regularly works on domestic and international cyber claims involving data breaches, regulatory investigations, mandatory notification laws, recovery actions and incident response.
She has acted as breach coach, privacy counsel and coverage counsel in a range of incidents including high profile data breaches, denial of service attacks, ransomware and business email compromise and fraud incidents. She also regularly advises clients in relation to their privacy compliance and cyber incident readiness and resilience.

Passionate about growing ICT locally and helping open pathways for our future workforces, Mathew is involved with the ACS as a Gold Coast and the ACS QLD Branch Executive committee. Mathew works to mentor students and is developing a Gold Coast Innovation group of local business ICT leaders to lift the profile of ICT on the Gold Coast. His focus is on developing the ICT sector locally, to help the development of local talent and ultimately see the Gold Coast be known as an ICT world leader.

Conor has been in the information technology space for over 17 years, focused on providing infrastructure support and technical consulting to SMB and SME businesses, giving him an intimate understanding of how these types of businesses operate, the technology they use, their people and their culture.
Conor and his team at Solis Security respond to thousands of cyber incidents each year, helping them to recover from cyber attacks as well as understand how the cyber attacks occurred and the impact of the cyber incident. Conor has the first-hand experience to explain why some companies, when targeted by cybercrime gangs, end up in tight, costly situations.
Conor is a GIAC Certified Forensic Examiner (GCFE) and is on the GIAC advisory board, helping to improve the future career paths of forensic examiners.

Registration
- Payment in full is required the time of booking in order for the registration to be valid.
- To avoid disappointment, ensure you pay for your booking(s) before the registration closing date. Anyone that has not received a confirmation email will not be on the event attendance list and therefore will not be admitted to the event.
- Online registration ends at the time stated on the event registration page.
Cancellation and Refund
All cancellations must be processed through the website, a refund will only be considered if it is at least 3 working days prior to the event.

COVID-19 Event Attendance Compliance
By registering to attend an ACS in person event you are agreeing to the below terms and conditions
- If an attendee is displaying flu or cold like symptoms in the days leading up to the event and therefore is not able to attend, ACS will refund the registration fee.
- If an attendee comes to an event and is displaying flu or cold like symptoms they will be asked to leave
- We ask all ACS members to respect the social distancing guidelines, if an attendee repeatedly disregards these guidelines, they may be asked to leave
- ACS reserves the right to cancel the event within 24 hours' notice if either the speaker or the event host has advised us that they are exhibiting flu or cold like symptoms
- All attendees must provide a valid phone number and email address to be contacted on if there is reason to notify about a possible COVID-19 exposure
