Diversity & Inclusion Workshop 2: Unlocking and Powering Inclusive Teams
Join us for this hands on workshop surrounding Diversity & Inclusion.
About this event
The workshops will be delivered by professional facilitators and will provide direct access to high quality peer networking opportunities as well as key business leaders across the ICT industry. Each participant will have the opportunity to create and develop a personal action plan throughout the series, which aims to provide participants with real, tangible outcomes to accelerate their career growth. Workshops will range from 15-25 participants at each session.
It is envisaged that members may not attend all four workshops, and therefore these have been designed with this in mind.
Workshop 2 - Unlocking and Powering Inclusive Teams
“Nine out of ten conversations miss the mark”, according to one Stanford University study.
- Do the people on your team often seem to talk past each other?
- Does it sometimes feel as if everybody in the room is addicted to being right?
- Have you ever not got along with someone because they weren’t like you?
- Do you sometimes feel uncomfortable around work colleagues and not sure why?
Focusing on honing high-level communication skills will unlock and power an inclusive environment; increase your influence, make you more persuasive and assist you in standing out from others.
This interactive, two-hour workshop will leverage the latest neuroscience research to explore how to achieve exceptional outcomes for you and your organisation.
After this workshop you will;
- Understand the aspects of conversations necessary to create inclusive teams
- Understand how to move away from your comfort zone and towards a learning mindset
- Be able to create the conditions for collaboration
- Explore the neuroscience behind conversations
Remaining workshops are as follows;
- Monday 7 October: Workshop 3 - Designing Inclusive and Compelling Virtual Environments
- Monday 9 December: Workshop 4 - Leveraging Working Styles to harmonize collaboration
Single workshop ticket
- Member - $50.00 (Inc GST)
- Non-member - $75.00 (Inc GST)
