ACS is pleased to collaborate with a number of IT professionals and education experts to help you understand what IT skills are needed in the real world and types of programs that can be offered to your students.

IT Industry Professionals and Education Experts Webinar will provide you with the opportunity to listen to experts in the IT profession and in the education setting.

Hear from industry experts about their experience working in IT. Understand what it means to be an IT professional in today’s climate and consider how current workplace skills can be transitioned back into your classroom.

The Education Experts will provide information about successful programs that have run nationally and sometimes internationally. Many of these programs are available for high secondary school and provide opportunities for creative thinking entrepreneurial thinking and learning.

This webinar is targeted at any secondary school teacher who will be teaching and assessing the 7-10 Digital Technologies Curriculum and the senior secondary technology related subjects.

Completion of IT Industry Professionals and Education Experts Webinar contributes to 1 hour of PD addressing the standards listed from the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers. This learning will assist in addressing the following Australian Professional Standards:
