Their CIO, Sarah McCullough will share her insight as an experienced IT leader. 

 

She will share the lessons learned throughout her journey and how she used mentorship and her skillsets to plan her career and become one of the few female CIOs in Australia.

 

Learn from her valuable experience in compliance and cybersecurity and how she put it at the center of her strategy for Essential Energy's transformation program. 

 

She will as well dive into how she's been putting mental health and wellbeing in the ICT sector as some of her top priorities.

About the speaker

 

Sarah McCullough is a Senior IT Executive, certified Organisational Change Manager and Scuba Diving Instructor. She combines strong leadership skills with a passion for people, technology and innovation.

 

Sarah is a natural leader who inspires the people around her to achieve above and beyond their expectations, through an enthusiastic and authentic approach to people and ideas. Sarah is currently the Chief Information Officer at Essential Energy.

 

Prior to this Sarah held a variety of Senior IT and Innovation Committee roles at Pacific National and Asciano, an ASX top 50 company. Sarah holds a Grad Dip in Information Technology and a Masters of Business Administration (Computing) from Charles Stuart University. In 2012 she was awarded the IT Masters prize for highest GPA in the MBA (Computing) program, and in 2015 was nominated for the Telstra Business Woman of the Year award for her leadership and mentoring.
