The ACS Young Tech Ambassadors (YTA) Program was created to meet Australia’s growing need for tech professionals. Funded through the Queensland State Government’s Digital Professional Workforce Action Plan, the YTA School Awareness Program brings the tech sector to life for high school students, inspiring them to pursue tech careers. For young tech professionals, it offers the ability to develop leadership and communications skills, giving their CVs a significant boost.
The YTA school outreach program brings young tech professionals into Queensland schools where they’ll talk to students about their education path and showcase how exciting and dynamic a tech career can be. By having people close to their age sharing first-hand experience of digital jobs, students from a range of backgrounds will be inspired to aim for a career path that’s well paid, full of opportunities and very accessible.
