Develop your team, grow your business

Effective team management is critical to growth, especially in a small business or start-up. Often people are friends, working in multiple roles without specific experience or expertise. Workforce planning can help you overcome skills shortages by developing career plans that identify training, improve productivity and increase job satisfaction.

Who does workforce planning help?

Workforce planning is incredibly useful for businesses who are ready to:

  • Explore growth and expansion

  • Respond to changes in staffing

  • Start planning for the future

  • Identify workforce challenges, and suggest options to address them

These may include considering diverse or underrepresented groups, and other potential talent sources (e.g. skilled migration).

Grants and incentives to help you grow your business

There are many resources out there to help you develop your workforce. The key is to find out which ones are relevant to you.
